We’ve posted about dog food issues and the truth is that there are few foods that meet the needs of dogs and yet are healthy, natural and safe. Homemade dog food is the best route and even though you think its expensive and time consuming the reality is that your dog will live longer and your vet bills will go down so its a trade off. We all know the nightmares of commercial dog food and a simple search will show you that most are filled with ingredients that are unsafe for human consumption so why would you feed your dog this?

We had a busy holiday! Now that winter and a New Year is here it will be slow the next few months. We are still boarding dogs but you should try to call ahead of time. When its slow we often take mini trips. just give us a call and see if we’re around. 434-685-1673, however email is always a FASTER way to get me. I admit that I’m really bad about checking voicemail but always check email.
This spring and summer we expect to be even busier then last. Starting Feb you should book ahead. We hope to expand this year and put stables in for horse boarding. We would also like to put some facilities in for people to come out and spend a day or a few hours with their dogs. Its a great way to meet friends and let your dog have some fun with others. My son Michael Fricano and Amanda Wile will be married on August 18th, 2007. My son Michael is a fitness trainer at Perfect Body Fitness in Danville.
